Welcome to the SBG forum yep_yep, it looks like you are the only person that thinks you have an abnormal head shape, I think it looks fine, and the sly look will definately suit you fine. Go for it bro.

Welcome to the world of sly!  We're all apprehensive about how we look anyway, but just like some of the bros said, I think your head looks good, so go for it and try it for 30 days - it will always grow back in.  I just took the plunge 2 wks ago and I haven't regretted it yet.

yep_yep....what are you talking about..your facial structure or your cranial shape? your cranial shape is perfect for sly....your facial structure is going to be there with hair or not....if your talking about your cranial shape post a side view of it because we just can't see what your stressing over....i'd trade you cranial shapes in a heartbeat...i have pointed head but i dont let that stop me from enjoying the sly look.

I think my head is too long and narrow for sly. My face is kinda narrow aswell, hehe... anyway, yeah the side view is even worse, too bad I don't have a picture of it anymore (my hair or what's left of it covers it now). Well the thing is that I got the "bump" almost in the middle of my head when looking at the side view. Normally the bump is in the rear part of the head, not in the middle.

Welcome to SBGs, yep_yep! 8) I agree with everyone else here...the SLY look would work for you.  Your hair cut is short enough already...why not try SLY for 3-4 weeks. I am sure you'll like it and keep it...and in the very rare case you don't, it wouldn't take you long to grow back your current style.

Welcome yep_yep, Welcome, and remember we are our worst critics, we see things that others dont see that we dont like about ourselves.  It's really weird, but some of those things others find very attractive, and it helps.  I say go sly, if you dont like it, nothing lost.  Your head shape is just waiting to be Sly, give it a try, and what you have to gain is lots of compliments and headrubs.LOL... When you stop and think about it, if you are going bald anyway, your head shape is really irrelevant.  You can't hide it under mounds of hair, and if you don't at a minimum buzz your hair very short, you're going to look ridiculous.  Your head shape is what it is, and from the photo you posted, you have nothing to worry about anyway.

With all the sly guys in the world today, do you really think all of them have perfectly shaped heads?   No, of course not.  But very few of them are so badly shaped that you would take notice of it.   Only a very few people who are exceptionally blessed are without cosmetic flaws of some kind.  We all tend to fixate on our own flaws because we know what they are.  The rest of the world tends not to notice.

Thanks, guys. I feel much better about it already. I also noticed that the proportions were wrong in the previous picture I had, my head looked even longer than it is. The right picture is there now and it looks much better.

First of all, Welcome yep_yep.

Now,  look at my picture and ask your self "Do I look better than that ugly guy"?  The shape of your head and face looks good to me...but, you'll look even better SLY.

Well I gotta do it anyways, whether I'll look stupid or good. My balding just doesn't give me a break and I've lost about 50% of my hair in a year. And give me a break dude, you're not ugly quite the opposite (I'm not gay :D).

Hey yep.  I went sly last Friday.  Even though I am a newbie and certainly not an expert, I think your head looks good.  You've got defined eyebrows, something I wish I had.  These guys on here are the best.  Listen to them - they know what they are talking about.  They were there for me when I was struggling with my decision.  The main thing is making yourself happy - to heck with what everyone else thinks.  Try it - you'll like it.
