So I finally forced myself to buzz my hair to #0 on clippers, so I'm practically bald now. My headshape actually looks better when there's 0 hair, it looks more round. I thought, what the f**k, it will grow back to my usual 3 mm in a fucking week, so why not try it? I've done this only once before and I didn't like it... I still not like it too much but it's growing on me a bit. I'm gonna post some pics tomorrow.

Since you're this close, you need to go climb in the shower, get out the Schick and shave gell or Headslick and finish it off totally bald. Come into the brotherhood of the permanently bald!

Good job! Don't worry about liking it just yet -- it takes time to adjust to a new look. Now would be the perfect time to shave it smooth, BTW. It will only take 2 or 3 days to grow back to where it is now. You're so close -- it would be a shame not to see things through completely. :)

I remember being scared the first time I shaved my head, just do one of these... "OOH WHOOPS I SHAVED OFF A LITTLE TOO HIGH ON MY SIDEBURN... WELP GUESS I"LL JUST HAVE TO SHAVE TEH WHOLE HEAD NOW!" ;)

I have seen my headshape before, I buzzed to #0 1.5 years ago... it's rounder than I remembered alright, especially from the side view. I hate the coneheadnedness from the front view though. It ain't over yet, my family and friends have yet to see it.

It looks fine. I don't know what you're seeing but there's nothing wrong with your head shape -- really!! Just enjoy it. There's plenty of guys that would love to be in your position. Don't be so hard on yourself.

I agree with RazorX; I would love to have your jawline. There's a reason you don't see my side view as an avatar -- no chin/chiseled jawline and less-than-ideal head shape. Yep_yep, you have both!!! I wouldn't say it if I didn't believe it. If I see someone who doesn't look good with a shaved head, I say nothing. And Andre is right... deadringer for Michael Rosenbaum. Don't get weak in the knees on us. We've been hard on you, but you've finally done it (not shaved, but close); give it time. You will grow to love it.

Yep_Yep, congrats on taking this big step for you. I know you've battled back and forth for awhile but honestly you have a great head shape! I think RazorX hit it right on the money - you've got a great jawline and you're definitely Michael Rosenbaum's twin. Good for you! Go ahead & shave it down with a razor - if you don't like it it will always grow back out! Keep us posted.

i was thinking the same about the jawline. Mine sort of just disappears into my neck ;D well, maybe not quite that bad, but it's the reason I don't like side view pics of my head! yep_yep, you have a great jawline. You have nothing to fear O0

The third one is actually the one I dread the most... head looks weird from that certain angle (and from some other angles aswell). It actually looks like a female head or something, very feminine IMO. I don't like it.

A little update on my situation... still buzzing my hair, but I returned to my usual 3 mm immediately when the hair grew out. Didn't get any comments or anything, I just like the longer buzz better as I still got some hair. I won't have the option for too long.
