I'm a Pirates fan. No need to feel bad for me. I'll never root for another team, plus they are slowly improving.
Anyone else enjoy baseball?
-
Go Yankees!

I Love baseball and maybe you should feel sorry for me......... I'm an Orioles fan.

Right now, Billy Beane is a junk parts dealer. We're not going anywhere, and it's a low risk investment. I'm just hoping he can spin him off for a decent prospect at the trade deadline.
As much as I hate this situation my A's are in, I can appreciate what they're doing. Most talent evaluators view the trades the A's made this year as very smart and that the A's came out on the better end on all of them. Although that bodes well for the future, the present is going to be kind of rough.

"Don't feel sorry for yourselves, be proud of your teams!" says the Cubs fan...

41 days until Opening Day. One of the players the Pirates signed in free agency this year is SS Clint Barmes. He rocks the sly dome as well as anyone I've ever seen.

Let's go White Sox (clap--clap--clap-clap-clap)!!!
-
Hoping the Tigers do well although I'm not overly thrilled with Fielders contract or the length of it............................Royals have some very good young talent coming up and they could be a team to watch out for.
-
White Sox all the way. Pauly Konerko for life
-
Dear Jarrod: My early picks are Anaheim vs Philly. Im not sure about either the Yanks or Sox. However; the NY Giants won the SUperbowl, so it's been a good year so far. A SF visit to the Series wouldnt surprise me.
-
Dodgers and Angels fan here. Who knows how the Dodgers will be this year. As far as the Angels, things look very exciting, so I'm looking forward to the upcoming season.
-
cry me a river :'( :'( :'( ,i got my METS :Xo! >:( :o ??? :-\ :'( :'( :'(
-
A's vs. Padres, with the A's winning Game 7 on a wild pitch.....then I woke up.
D'Backs vs. Angels in the World Series.
-
Phillies vs Angels.
-
Braves vs Rangers in the World Series.
-
Braves in the world series???? After Tim Hudson they have nobody................Dan Uggla, Freddy Freeman, ''Chipper Jones'' who is about 98y.o.. Their best chance will end once they leave spring training. Sorry but I just don't see the Braves doing much at all.
-
They also have Martin Prado, Brian McCann, and a great young pitching rotation that can only get better. Also, this should be the year Jason Heyward starts to break out. Not to mention they have the best bullpen in the NL.

Im not sure about them either...sox are probably going to take some time to adjust to the new coach...and the superbowl is still a fresh wound i dont want to talk about... :'(

I'm not a fan, but watching "Cobb", the 1994 movie on the legendary Ty Cobb has been fantastic.
-
I'm a fan of the Cincy Reds. Going to the DC Nationals opening day game which is against the Reds. Plan on wearing a Reds' cap although I will certainly show of my shiny dome for part of the game as well.
-
Long-suffering Mets fan here. Been with them since the beginning. Guess I'm a glutton for punishment.
-
New York Yankees. I now root for the Diamondbacks on the West side too, (unless they play the Yanks'). ;)
-
Kinda hard to follow baseball, as we only have a minor league team....though I do casually follow the A's and Giants because my mother lived in various parts of the East Bay for almost thirty years. When I visited over the summer as a teen in the 80s, she'd take my brother and I to at least one game for each team...tickets were pretty dirt cheap depending on the seating and the opponent then.....

Id like to be if i. Lived ur side of the pond

Big time baseball fan. After years of watching a bad team the Rangers have finally figured it out. I sure hope they get back to the Fall Classic and that the 3rd time is the charm

DAMN, I LOVE QUOTING MYSELF!
Anyway, this year has been a pleasant surprise for my beloved A's. As I said earler, most baseball people thought the A's got the better end of the deals they made. They gave up Andrew Bailey (hurt), Trevor Cahill (6-7), Craig Breslow (good reliever) and Gio Gonzalez (All Star). But in return they got Jarrod Parker (5-3, 2.46 ERA), Tommy Milone (8-6, 3.73), Ryan Cook (Closer, picked for All Star), Derek Norris (soon to be starting catcher), plus two other prospects that apparently have "can't miss" written all over them.
Now, if those jerks in San Francisco can stop being a-holes about the whole territorial rights crap and let the A's move to San Jose, the A's will clearly be a franchise to be reckoned with.
GO A'S!!!

Huge Giants fan here and a huge Tim Lincecum fan. Gonna go watch the Giants kick some Dodgers ass on the 29th. GO GIANTS!!
