Title: Keratosis Pilaris
Post by: Asher on September 14, 2008, 10:34:30 PM
hey all, haven't posted in awhile, what's up?  the subject of my post is keratosis pilaris.  it's a skin disorder (?) that affects a lot of people.  it's not in any way damaging or dangerous, but it's annoying, take it from someone who has it.  keratosis pilaris is basically trapped keratin underneath your skin.  keratin is in your fingernails, your teeth.  it is produced naturally in the body, and when in the form of keratosis pilaris, looks and feels like little whiteheads on your skin.  you may have little raised bumps on your arms and back, and possibly elsewhere.  anyway, i have recently been getting them on my head (joy!) and was wondering if anybody else has this minor 'disease'.  it's just moderately unsightly when i shave my head, to have small bumps all over, and i wanted to know if anybody else has this and has any home remedies for it.  i've been exfoliating, and it helps a tiny bit, but not really.  anyone?

Hey Asher, was wondering how you have been doing. Glad to see you still around.
I haven't had anything close, I hope someone here has some input.
Glad to see your staying with it  8)
