Title: ZIP - hair removal wax
Post by: bald_737 on May 16, 2015, 03:50:09 AM
My order for the wax just arrived and was anxious to get started. I broke the block into smaller pieces and put them into a steel container and had it in a another pot with boiling water. I kept it boiling for an hour plus. But it seemed that they didnt melt into a freely flow mixture. They softened up as I stirred it. I left it to boil for another 20 minutes but still the same.

I do  believe many had used the wax before. anyone has any advice??

I haven't used wax, but would be interested in using wax if it meant shaving less but keeping bald

I didn't think waxing was used on the scalp because the hair is very dense (more follicles per square inch) than on other parts of the body.  I imagine it would be really painful to rip out patches of hair from the scalp because of that.  The hair will still grow back, so the smoothness will be temporary.

I have no experience with wax, but would be interested in following your experience with it.
