Title: Shampoos?
Post by: 008 on June 03, 2008, 01:53:28 PM
Quick and easy question: can they still be used for a bald head?

Sure they can.  I like Jack Black All-Over Wash for Face, Hair & Body.  It has a great scent.  I also use the same American Crew shampoo I used when I had hair.

008:  U can still use the shampoos but U will probably get better results from a good face wash, moisturizing body wash, or moisturizing bar soap (dove).  i wash my dome daily with NIVEA for MEN face wash.  i use the ST. IVES apricot scrub 2 or 3 times a week, also.

I've been using Clearasil daily face wash. It works pretty well.

I think shampooing is must ya know or at least general cleanising. Stating the obvious I know but there some good products that specifically can help with the shaved look. Ingredient such tea tree, aloe vera and zinc are quite beneficial if applied to your head I use the latter in either Head&shoulders shampoo or the ZNP bar which have a good anti bacterial effect.

I've used tea tree shampoos and bars  before and admittedly didn't really notice much  but that was just for me. Anywhoo ingredients like tea tree  are much better when applied from topical lotions so you should just look for a good deep cleansing shampoos or  bar. Other than Head&Shoulder, Men-U do a good scalp shampoo and there's the Bald Guys Wash but like Headblades, Headwash I found it a tad too gentle.

If I don't shave for a day and get a nice shadow going, I'll use shampoo
