Title: cheap razor for bald head/nicely groomed beard

I want a razor that is preferably under $30 and can give me the shaved head look and also trim at a 1/2 1 and 2 as well.. what's the best thing out there?

I guess you are looking for a trimmer more than a razor, I would suggest that you would have a hard time finding a trimmer under $30 that's any good. Though for a razor, I would recommend Gillette Mach3

A nice trimmer will run you $50.  But it won't shave. Just about any razor will shave but won't trim. Sorry but They just don't work that way.

Trust me I use the wahl lithium rechargeable trimmer for my head and beard. It works perfectly. And it's under $30.00 :)

We don't have to "trust you" - that photo says it all!  Lookin good my friend!  You are a walking advertisement for Wahl.  You should send Wahl a copy of your photos and your story.

I have this one.  Works well.  I used to buzz with it all the time. Now just use it to trim eyebrows and beard.

It's under $30.  The main clipper works well. The companion trimmer stinks.  It's not sharp, no power, waste of time.
