Best electric shaver?
« on: May 20, 2020, 02:26:15 PM »
I'm in the market for a good electric for when I don't have the time to grab a blade or when I just prefer the convenience. I'm not too worried about price; I'll spend a little more for quality. I've heard great things about the Braun Series 9 and Panasonic Arc5. Does anybody have experience with them?

I have a Panasonic ES8243A Arc4 and I really like it. It charges fast and is easy to clean. I've had it over 2 years and it still runs like a champ, I did replace the blades and the foil once.

I like my Andis Foil Shaver, I do not know about the others.

i’m a barber I’ve used both the Braun, the Wahl and the Andis.  The Braun and the Andis are equally as good but the Andis is WAY less money is infinitely cheaper and you can replace both the blades and the head on the Andis  about 30 bucks
are use the Andis on my own head when I don’t wet shave

I wound up going with the Braun series 9 on the recommendation of a barber I know. I'm impressed! Very comfortable on the head, with no irritation to speak of. Not quite as close as a blade, but still REALLY tight. And it comes with a sweet cleaning station as well.
