Title: Irritation, cuts, uneven patches, HELP!

I’ve been shaving for a couple years now, back and forth between clippers and DE razor (Edwin Jagger). I use a badger brush, Derby blades, Proraso cream and aftershave.

I can’t ever get it right. It’s as if I’m getting worse at it! I always nick/cut myself around the back of the ears, there’s always a weird red patch near the back of my neck, I miss spots ALL the time even when I go back and do a triple-check...

What am I doing wrong? How can I do this without all the bleeding? How can I keep the cuts from scabbing! Aaah!

Same here when I use a de safety razor. My hair grows all the way down to the top of my ears. I have to use my Schick Extreme 3 disposable, working back to front over the ears.
