Title: Burn Machine and Speed Bag

Anyone here used The Burn Machine or Speed Bag? I saw them at a Trade Show recently and tried them briefly. Both provide a very intense workout.

The Speed Bag looks real interesting.

My opinion only here.... don't spend a lot of money on workout stuff. Especially stuff that only works out isolated areas. If you are going to spend money on something, spend it on something more all encompassing.
I have a nice quality gym in the basement that I bought on clearance for a couple hundred bucks and I get a full workout with it.
I also have a gym quality elliptical.

All that aside..... if you do want to spend money on something... I would recommend P90X. It will kick your ass and get you in shape quick. I was seven weeks in when I got hurt and after just seven weeks I felt great.
One thing about P90X..... and this is a known..... you will most likely NOT see big changes at first. The biggest burn in the program begins around week 9-10 if I remember correctly.

I agree with P90X being the way to go, but I cannot really do any kind of exercise that would put stress on my knees in an shape or form. I had double knee surgery a couple of years ago and still have some pain from time to time.

I was in the military for 12 years and had plenty of experience with P90X type workouts. There is no doubt they do work. My friend who has been doing it for almost 2 years is ripped.

I was a weight trainer for years as well. The Speed Bag is beyond anything I've ever used in terms of intensity.
