This is the official announcement for SLYBALDCON '09:
It will be held on July 24, 25, . in Houma louisiana. at the CITY CLUB OF HOUMA. Live bands both nights (fri. and sat). i do not have all the details as to who will be playing yet. i will update as i get them. there are several hotels in the area. Several reallly good resturaunts as well. Houma is not a big city but there is a good bit to do. any question can be sent to me via pm. as i get more info i will update you guys. it is about an hour west of new orleans so that would be the easiest airport. baton rouge and laffayett aint very far away if it saves you some money. hope to see all you crazy assess there in july. i am working out the deals with the club owner. updates will come but now we have a date and a place. i was there thursday night and had a great time.

i personally don't see a problem with significant others. it will be at a bar/club so kids won't be able to partake. sorry if that causes a problem. guess it just depends on wether you want them to see you act like a fool with your buddies. ha ha ha ha here is a link to the club's myspace

Well you said you can probably give a solid no on this one. Oh man, if you didn't and asked to cut the honeymmoon short, I don't know how well that would go. That's suicide!! She would probably say sure go ahead.....but when you would come back home :x!

I will be on the Queen Mary in the middle of the Atlantic somewhere. Any chance of Tyler payin for a satelite link up. Only kiddin guys. Go for it and have a great time. Just remember the wee guy fae Scotland and have a drink (or 12) for me! O0

Plans are started here and it looks like you boys will have the honor of meeting the lovely Mrs.Koz.
Like me, she loves to go to new places and see new things. If it were somewhere we had been she probably wouldn't even care.... but Louisiana???? We almost went there on our Honeymoon.
The kids will be staying with the Grandparents!
We're even talking about driving and taking a couple of extra days so we can stop at some cool places along the way.

Sounds good, Michael. Marsh and Rob tried to get a NW mini-con together in November or December, but they were the only two that could make it. I'll talk to Marsh, and start a new thread to see if anyone is interested.

You can swing thru on your way down and pick me up...Kris has shown some interest in going, but dont know if she really is serious about it or not. I have talked to Ghost and Sean...they want to come so they may drive to me and then we will all go down together. Just need to get a plan together...

At this time in my life, finances are a major issue. So it would have to be in the Seattle or Portland areas. But I would love to see a NW Sly Bald mini con happen. But not in the month of July. I have too much going on then!
