SOTD 5/30

Pre: Maggard Razors Pre-Shave Oil - Lime
Brush: Shea Moisture Shave Boar Brush
Soap: E&J Limes & Pomegranate
Razor: Maggard Razors M3
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock (4)
Splash: Shea Moisture Shave After Shave Tonic
Post: Azzaro Chrome After Shave Balm

Woot! back to BBS! I'm really getting into my M3. And getting really close shaves from it. I think it's going to be my daily for a few. My second time using the E&J soap. Very nice lather. Love the smell. lasted for 2 passes on the head and one on the neck. The 7 O'Clock blade is just now starting to feel less sharp, so this is my last shave on it. I think I'll try an Astra next. Or a Vokshod... hmm.. decisions decisions...

SOTD 5/31

Pre: Maggard Razors Pre-Shave Oil - Lavender
Brush: Shea Moisture Shave Boar Brush
Soap: TOBS Coconut
Razor: '64 Gillette Super Speed
Blade: Persona Platinum Stainless Red
Splash: Master Bay Rum After Shave Lotion
Post: Dove Men+Care Post Shave Balm

I just had the smoothest shave I think I've ever had! I tossed a Persona Red in my Super Speed and that combo was AWESOME! I can't express how smooth that shave was. I had to check to make sure there was any blade exposed LOL The stubble just disappeared! Still loving the TOBS. Incredible lather. Need to pick up another bay rum. Any suggestions?

@WWM:  If you are looking for a good bay rum scent in shaving soap, I highly recommend Mystic Water Soap (Bay Rum).  Michelle (owner of Mystic Water provides great customer service).  I think she has the best Bay Rum scent.  Her shave soaps provide great lather, protection, and great post shave feel.

My favorite Mystic Water scents are Bay Rum, Sandalwood Rose, and Jasmine.  You can check out her site.

Sunday Shave 6/1

Smooth BBS! Feather blade in the Tech = close! I was nearly BBS on the first pass LOL I don't know who shaved smoother, the Feather or the Personna Red. I'm going to have to trade them in the Super Speed to get an objective opinion i think. Decent lather from the TOBS, but not as luxurious as the Coconut. Don't think I'm a fan of the Avocado scent. I'll have to use it a couple more times to know for sure. Have I mentioned I love shaving? :happy036:

Hi Gents:  I just wanted to say that I am really loving the recent participation in my favorite part of SBGs.  I really enjoy all the enthusiasm in the traditional way of shaving.  Again, if anyone is interested in the traditional way of shaving, I encourage you to post up a question here or PM me.

Wow!!! Just had an incredible shave with the sexy Cobra Classic.  It is probably the sexiest modern day razor on the planet.  It shaves as good as it looks.   Mystic Water Soap continues to be one of my favorite soaps.

Soap: E&J Lime & Pomegranate
Razor: '64 Gillette Super Speed
Blade: Personna Red (2)
Splash: Shea Moisture Shave Tea Tree Herbal AS Elixer

Another great shave from the Personna Red!  Totally BBS and no nicks or weepers.  Really liking the Super Speed also.  The E&J lathers excellently.  Have a great start to your week!

SOTD 6/3

Pre: Shave Secret
Brush: Shea Moisture Brush
Soap: GFT Almond
Razor: Frankentech (Muhle handle)
Blade: Feather (2)
Splash: Shea Moisture Shave Tea Tree Herbal AS Elixer
Post: Gillette Sensitive After Shave Gel

After using Maggard PSOs for a couple weeks I finally revisisted Shave Secret. I have to say the Maggard oils feel more protective. Not that Shave Secret dosent do a great job, but the Maggard oils feel a bit more viscous, but not "thick". I absolutely LOVE the scent of GFT Almond! Decent lather. The Feather blade is super sharp. Got me a couple times but still a BBS. I think the Personna Reds are just as sharp but more forgiving. Brought out the after shave that started it all for me, the $3 Gillette gel LOL Still love the smell of it.

That's profile picture material right there bro.
Anyhow I have sidelined the beard for the time being because I was eager to test the prowess of the Gillette Fatboy.
