In the never ending war on fringe, have any you guys used a depilatory, like Nair, successfully on your head?

Please share experiences, good or bad. Thanks.

I have tried a similar product, Magic Shave.  It is basically the same ingredients as Nair or any other depilatory.  It did work, but I had to leave it on longer than the 4 minutes the label said, more like 10 minutes.  However I found it did not get a close as a blade, did not last as long, and took longer to do than to shave.  It is marketed to help prevent razor bumps, so it may be a good alternative for guys that have problems shaving with a blade.

It can be very painful to do depending on your skin sensitivity
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

I once got a nasty chemical burn from Magic Shave.
