I kinda like longer hair for the female, gender, but must admit ^ is very true, and I have seen just in real life a few girls who had super short hair or no hair that were just smoking hot!!!

honestly, women with short hair is a big turn-off for me.. I prefer long hair, the longer the better. :)

Women with shaved heads are gorgeous (Sinead O'Connor, Gail Porter, Skin from Skunk Anansie, just to name a few faous ones). There seems to be a confidence that goes along with a woman who is willing to shave her head and display it proudly. It's just plain sexy.

When I was in my teens (back in the '70s - the 1970's) I knew a woman who always shaved her head. She said it was just to stay cool but she was really a turn on for me. Then again so were most females, after all I was a teenager ;D But anyway, she was too old for me and to this day, I've always found bald women a turn-on.

I'm sorry but I don't think women look good at all bald. It takes the femininity out of their look. It's actually scary as they look like space aliens. Men don't look bad bald but women do.Certain things only certain genders can pull off and I think women look better with hair.

I agree with you. It's funny, after becoming bald myself, my attitudes on women being bald changed. Before I thought short hair, etc didn't really look good on them, but after seeing a few more pictures and being bald myself, my opinion on the subject has reversed and I like short hair/bald on women depending on how it looks.

As I posted, perhaps not as bluntly, in the forum about bald actors, Natalie Portman shaved in Vendetta was an absolute ride! I don't think the shaved look suits all women but some of them do pull it off.

Personally I guess I would prefer my wife with hair. Though there are times when I'm waiting on her to get ready that I wish she was bald ::)

Some guys can make the Sly look good, some guys can't. It's the same thing for women. I've been trying to convince my girl to shave her head, I even offered to do it for her, but so far she hasn't taken me up on the offer. A guy can hope though, hehehe.

OK. This is my 1st post. it is not meant as a flame. My 1st thought of the singer in Skunk Anansie was "Hey its a female Klingon! Damb shes HOT!!!" However I do find certain female beans HOT.
I have been trying to convince my wife for years to go shave.

I just wanted to say that even though I know it's hypocritical I still think women look their hottest with long hair. Yes Natalie Portman and Demi Moore look hot with shaved heads but they look 10x's hotter with long hair. It just seems more feminine while a bald head looks masculine.

Living in SF, seeing bald women was very common.... In Chicago? Less common. In Sacramento? Not common.
Sometimes when I'm around sly women, the connection is there, like "Right on!"

Well I think if women chose to be bald that is there choice myself I think some women look good with short hair some bald and by far women with long hair. Something to get lost in absolutely love it

For both males and females:
Some look great with it, some look less so. In either case I am cool with it.
Demi Moore looked great with the buzz cut, Natalie Portman looked cute with the buzz cut. There are a couple of supermodels who have had the full shave (shiny dome), and looked amazing. One of them was a beautiful black girl.
I have seen a few other girls in my life who were I guess fairly average, and still looked nice with the cut. Sly girls get the thumbs-up from me.

I guess I've never really been attracted to women because of their hair. It's usually their behavior that attracts me to them, even if I don't know them. If you look at one at a bar, does she look a way real quick or hold a gaze for a few moments? Does she cock her head slightly to the side and half-smile when she's talking to you? That kind of thing attracts me to a girl, but I was dropped on my head as a child, and learning comes only to me with difficulty, so who knows?

so whats so wrong with women looking like aliens? remember that girl from StarTrek:The Motion Picture? She was HOT!
On a morning cartoon show recently had the young female host bald, she looked awesome! it really brought out her eyes and mouth. After a while they revealed it was fake. Now she is back on with her hair, and he just looks ordinary, good looking, but not outstandingly gorgeous as she was.
I think it takes a brave woman to go bald. should be more of them around. :@`

On to the subject at hand....I personally prefer a woman to have longer hair. Not obscenely long, just about shoulder length or so. For a woman to go bald, she must have a ton of confidence. I think it looks good on some (Sinead O'Connor, Demi Moore in GI Jane, ect..), just like the sly look would only look good on some guys...IMO. It just comes down to personal choice, and the confidence to keep it going.

Because a family member just went completely bald, I came here for info (and got some great insight thank you) but then realized "hey, I've never really thought about whether or not I'm attracted to or have any particular feelings toward a bald man or females so .... according to me, there are alot of really nice looking (usually in great shape) men that are bald which is extremely sexy and any female who is confident enough to be bald in this society I am SO impressed!
I've always had long hair and its honestly been a bit of an identity thing for me, so I sincere hope should I ever be in the position where I'm bald myself, that I wear it with confidence and pride like everyone here.

But not evey woman can pull off the SLY look. But those who can are (in my humble opinion) STUNNING!

If someone liked me I would like that person, wouldn't really matter if that woman was bald or with shaved head. That goes for any woman.
I usually see things from bigger perspective. My mind don't aloud myself to be narrow-minded. I always question myself so I can see it from a bigger perspective.

I'm a slyette. :-) I like the bald look on confident men who have a nice head shape. I think men with shaved heads and big bushy beards just looks really odd however. Lol. Or with lots of body hair, big beard and shaved head, especially if they have crazy eyebrows. Lol. Glad that combovers aren't as popular now! Bald is so much better than comb over any day!
I think women who have more feminine curves and facial features look better sly than women who have less distinctively feminine body types. I'm lucky to have a very feminine face and the right "accessories" (ahem) to still look girly sly. :-)

I love to see a man that is bald! I love to see bald men in Uniforms. As for myself I didnot like it on me. But that is my own personal opinion. I have got a sister in law that has cancer...and I told her when she loses her hair I will lose mine too. She takes radiation 5 days a week and is on her 2nd dose of chemo. She has one more chemo treatment to go and a bunch of radiation. Back on subject, I really don't think it matters any more if people have hair or not. I hope this makes sense.

They show that they have confidance , and are who they are. That they aren't ruled by what others think. No that is not meant to be anything but STYLE ! ;) 8) Look around !!!!! On TV shows, movies, life in general. ;) :*)) It busts me up that people and may I say some that are on the fence ! Duh , Bald is the style , and you don't have to be famous or a convict to own it. :*))
It is a way of life that many of us have done for years ;) 8) enjoy it and would not change it O0

I've always had a "thing" for bald guys, I think it's just hardwired in me. No bald guys in my family or anything like that. My ex isn't sly (despite my best efforts) so it isn't THE thing, but it's definitely a big tick in the plus column.
To wax philosophical, the head is such an important place -- our brains live there, the scalp had a huge number of nerve endings, it doesn't seem like a place you'd want covered up.
(Yes I know evolution/keeping warm/etc but we're evolved enough to have hats now :) )
I've been totally jealous of guys b/c it is mostly socially acceptable for them to shave and I'm glad I've just decided it is socially acceptable for me now, too. ;D

It's true though, I've seen some truly stunning sly guys and gals (although I've only seen girls outside of SBG with close buzzes, it's still a gorgeous look)

While I like shaving my head and think I look good bald, I think some young guys and women with perfect hair that do the Bald by choice decision is an odd one to me.
Not that I want to be prejudiced, because there is plenty against men who are balding by nature who choose to be sly, but Patrick Stewart put it nicely:

That basically sums it up for me. That said, I'm not going to tell anyone NOT to shave their head, because it is their choice. And it was my choice too to shave my thinning hair, and balding men decide at varying stages in their hair loss. But in my humble opinion i think that, if you've got great hair, go ahead and buzz it, but don't shave it.
