Yup, I can't grow a nice looking goatee. When it comes out I look like that Larry the Cable Guy. Wait, his comes in even better than mine.
So should I keep it trim and neat or go with my proud bare chin?

Try growing one and if after a week or two you're not happy with it, just shave it.

Go with the Larry the Cable Guy goatee...everyone is doing it!

now all you need are comedic lessons from noner, and you could be on your way

My only issue with the goatee is that everyone does it... Honestly, next time you're walking around, look at the bald guys and more than half will have goatees.
Between goatess and total clean shaven, they make up most of the facial hair for bald guys. That's why I'm running the soul patch... just something a little different!

i have had my goatee for almost 15 years. been shaving the head almost one. so everyone else is following me with the goatee. HA
-
Rob likes to be "different". At least that's what he calls it.

My wife had a bunch of her friends over last night for a scrapbooking gig and her old college roommate kept on rubbing my dome. She liked the feel but (like a lot of others) wasn't sure of the look. There were several other gals that gave my nugget the rub. I liked it. I am guessing the dramatic change in appearance takes some getting used to.
The greatest thing about shaving the dome is the fact that my scalp is completely itch & flake free!!!! If nothing else, that is reason enough to maintain the SLY look. As I've said before, this time of the year has been historically brutal on my scalp condition, but the shaving has made my dome pain free.
Have a great Tuesday,
Schro

Glad to hear it Schro!

:D Chad, you've got a really good, strong chin, so, if the goatee doesn't shape up in a couple of weeks, shave it off. Guys with weaker chins [myself and RozorX] need the camouflage. Schro, you make a good point about the cleanliness of the bald, regularly shaved dome. I'd add that, since shaving to the skin, there is no dandruff or spray net gunk on my pillow-cases, collars, or under my nails. Wife loves that, as well as the look and feel. Professor Melon

Not all of us are, myself I am growing a beard. And coloring it brown because the yellowish blonde didn't show up well and i'm not fond of that color.
-
I would wear a soul patch if I could pull it off. The problem is that mine would be a soul dot...LOL It's too small to be left on it's own.

I say go with the redneck dealio...mainly cause I are one and we need to expand our numbers...lol

A good friend of ours is working on our family tree and just with my side of the family alone, she said that our families probably knew each other back in the 1600's and 1700's. Then both sides of the family managed to migrate to the south and eventually to the southwest. Both sides of my family lived within miles of each other in the 1800's in Arkansas.......so who knows?

One big loving family :o
-
I could make the obvious incest references....I won't though. Rob got everyone on their toes with his comments.
-
Hey Pig, no worries. Just use Jack Daniels as fertilizer for your family tree and all will be forgotten.
