How many times do you use a blade on the noggin before you change it?
I was curious

It depends on what kind of blade you are using and how much hair you have to shave. I also think the texture of your hair can affect blade life. Some hair types seem to dull the blade faster than others. I can usually get two weeks out of a blade. I use the same blade to shave my dome and my face.

Same here... at least 2 weeks, usually more, with my generic Atra on my Headblade. Hey Razor, your avatar looks awesome. How bald are you really? It looks like you have virtually no hair at all. Or maybe you are just really good at shaving. Just curious.

It's a combination of having light-colored hair, being really thin (nearly completely bald) on top and the lighting conditions when the photo was taken (which was a good 12 hours after the shave, BTW). I have seen other photos of myself, which are side shots and I can't believe how dark the MPB horseshoe shadow looks in some of them.

2 shaves (head and face) with Gillette Good News Plus. I love the razor, but hate getting so few shaves. The lubrication strip wears out too soon. I've tried the newer razors with 4 or 5 blades, but they don't work well for me.
Just part of being SLY.

I can usually get a good week out of my Mach 3 if I shave every other day.
-
I could usually get a week out of the Mach 3. A week is really pushing it with the new fusion. I will probably go back to the Mach 3.

I'm glad somebody asked this question.
I'm always afraid of skinning myself, so I change my blades often, I guess too often.
I use the HB Sport with the Sensor blades, I've been changing them every 3 or 4 days, but I'm going to try to get a few more days out of them.
I've always been worried that I would find out the hard way that my blade needed to be changed.
I just ordered some of the official HB refil razors, so I'll see how those work for me.
I've been using a DE razor on my face, trying to learn the 'old school' way of shaving,
I was sick of having 5 o'clock shadow at 1pm.
-
I'm good for about a week on the HB/Atra setup, usually I lose track of how long its been on though, so some go sooner and some later. It really depends on how comfortable the shave is.
I use the Fusion on my face and to touch up the melon, it usually goes about 2 weeks before I think, "man that blade is getting old."
-
How many days? Man, that is a tough one. I'm using the Gilette Mach 3 and I think I get about four days out of it. I shave my dome every day-- right after I shave my face.

I get about a week - week and half on the Sensor 3 blade I use for my Headblade
-
I change my blade every Monday with my HeadBlade/Sensor Excel combo. So, I guess I get 7 days.
-
I'd say about a week, though the atra blades for the headblade don't seem to wear down that fast. But if i'm not in a blade purchasing mood I just use an electric wet/dry razor to do the trick.
-
About 2 weeks for me using the HeadBlade Trip or Sensor. Only use it on the noggin though.
-
never really paid much attention. probably 3 or 4 shaves. if they don't feel right, i toss them and start fresh.
-
I actually get away with about 15-20 shaves with 1 blade! My hair is so thin that I change my blade about once per month. After that, it don't feel right, i toss them and start fresh. :)
