I just hit my 10 year baldiversary! Ten years ago I decided to give myself a one time buzzcut, that ended up in a complete headshave. To my surprise, my girlfriend loved it and wanted me to keep it. That's when I found this website, and I decided to try the 30 day challenge. Almost everyone liked to bald look, and soon I did too.
Over the years, I've attempted to grow my hair back many times, but I always return to a smooth shaved head. I've also met some great people here, and have enjoyed the conversations.

@Razorhead , not in my wildest dreams did I think I would wear a shaved head! Yes, my hair was pretty long before I shaved it. It was quite a shock.

I think it has been over 12 for me, but I do not know the exact date.

It's a beautiful hot summer day in Minnesota! I sat at the patio table this morning, with lawn sprinkler going, had coffee, breakfast, then got a bowl of hot water and soap and a fresh razor and did a BBS headshave outdoors. Love the feel of the breeze on my head while shaving!

@reddog sounds like a nice relaxing morning. I’ve never used shaved soap. What kind of soap did you use?

Believe it or not, I just use Dial coconut water bar soap. It's very slippery and works great for me.

@Semi-Sly , haha, I never thought of that before, but you're right! That was when I lived on the gulf Coast of Florida, my beach bum look. Stress from my job was making my hair thin a bit, and I lost alot of weight before I shaved my head.

Congrats on your tenre! I guess you're in it for the long haul. I've tried growing mine but I just can't stand it after a few days! Keep it shaven because it's really a much better look on you!

TEN YEARS! I'm about 4 or 5 years now. I can't imagine ever growing it back. I like it this way. The ten year mark will creep up pretty fast. I'm not even counting anymore.

Yes, I keep thinking about the day of my first shave. I finally got the green light from my honey to do a one time buzzcut. When I finally put the 0000 blade on, it was just stubble, so I got in the shower with a razor and shaved my head. My honey was shocked, but later that day she asked me to keep it shaved. That's when I found this website, and decided to do the 30 day challenge. Of course at the end of 30 days I was hooked! 10 years later...........

My honey likes my hairstyle but I keep it because I like it more!
