Yesterday was a beautiful spring day - temperature in the upper 60's, gentle breeze, nice sun. I decided to wash my wife's car and mine. An hour later, I had a sunburned scalp - forgot the sunscreen! Stupid mistake - I should know better after six years of slyness. Not looking forward to the peeling stage... :(

Getting the bucket, sponge and rags, I passed my cap rack and never thought of grabbing one! What a dope!

Good reminder for everyone. I was sitting on my patio Saturday, and my neighbor who is also sly,(my inspiration for shaving my head) said "don't get sunburned".
I hope you don't suffer too much, Laser.

I almost did the same thing. I can normally do my yard work without sunscreen as it is within my limits of how long I can stay in the sun without burning. I said normally, because in spring my scalp has not adjusted to the sun's rays. I did not get an all out burn, just enough to feel a little sting in the shower.

dude. . . can happen to anyone. you're having a good time outside and don't even think how intense the sun can be. we've all been there.

I know. Just hate the peeling phase which started this morning...
