Title: Shaved ma head, thoughts?

Hey. I just shaved my head, not totally but a no.3 which I feel is about right for now. I'm after some honest feedback and advice, given you're all probably more knowledgeable about this stuff than I am. Been preparing for this for a while, so I grew a beard and have attached some before photos for you to see too. For anyone wondering I'm just about to turn 23 years old. Thanks!

Looks awesome Arthur J....much better than before...keep at it or even drop down to a 2 or a 1....you will go skin before you know it....

Hi arthur, looks good.  You cannot avoid the fact that you have receding so it's good that you are taking control.  Stick with things where they are until you are happy, then try a number 2 and repeat the whole process.  If you get to a stage that you think is right for you, stop.  If you go to far, don't worry the advantage of short hair is that it quickly grows back, so in a week r so you wiould be back to the length you like.  Great head shape, if you do want to go sly........

I happen to be very biased toward the bald and bearded style myself, but it really does suit you.

Welcome, Arthur! I do see some receding, but I think that it looks good, especially if you're not ready to go all the way just yet. Nice beard coverage, BTW.

Going a little shorter -- like a #2 -- will camouflage the thinning better.

I thought I would do the same, a buzz cut first and then eventually shave it. I couldn't stop. I buzzed it down and before I stopped I was completely bald.  I never regretted it and been bald for several years now.  When you decide to shave it all off you'll wished you would have done it sooner.
