Hate my work
« on: August 02, 2015, 11:57:15 PM »
So I just started this new job in telemarketing. I have worked as it before and i quit my old job because i hated working as it. I had to take this job because it was the only one i got for 2 months. I wanna quit and take another job were I won't feel misarble all the time. The problem is that my parents are really glad that i got a job and they will be really dissapointed in me. I just graduated and I am new to this whole work thing. Can I search for a new job while i still work at my current job?

Of course you can search for a new job while still in your old one, of course it makes organising interviews a bit harder, moving into my current job I actually let my old boss know while I was looking, and he offered me more, but I was taking a big cut to get an apprenticeship.
What I'm trying to say is that tough times pass and we move onto better things, there will always be something available for someone willing to work hard

While many jobs suck more than others, there are always learning experiences that can be gained from each.  Focus on learning as much as you can while you look for a new job.

Is it the actual work, or the management that sucks?
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Its the work. The thing is, the work being boring etc is not a problem for me. But this work makes me feel misrable, depressed and psychologicly tired.

Select a field that really excites you and start researching jobs in that field. If your job excites you it makes it a lot more enjoyable to go to work every day.

To @Cardelli: find what you love and what create value to the society, and go deep into it. You can always change your work. Find your life purpose and go hard on it.

I used to get money on trading but I'd never have done this without a starting capital. I got it thanks to payday loans in Missouri where I'd lived for threeyears. A thousand bucks was enoguh for me to start trading actions.

If you do not like your work, then you should try to find another job. Let you get less, but you will be happier and happily do your work, then you will become real professionals, and so much will be paid.

Just one thing to consider. When you are young, you need to pay your dues, and possibly work at something you don't like, until you find something you do like. When a potential employer sees a resume with lots of job changes, especially in someone with little experience, it's a red flag that this person may not be someone to hire for long term. I was a hiring manager for fifteen years before changing fields. If I would get a candidate with only a few years experience and lots of job changes, I would immediately toss the resume in the bin.
