Title: What photo hosting site do you use?
Post by: -Doug- on August 22, 2012, 11:14:48 AM: I was just wondering which photo hosting site some of you use. Over the years I've accumulated accounts at a few different sites because one never seemed to have all of the features I've needed or wanted. I want to consolidate and and looking for input about which one you use and why. Let me know your thoughts.

Resizing is the one thing I seem to have trouble with when it comes to PhotoBucket. Otherwise I like that site. I must be doing something wrong.

Interesting! I hadn't thought of that. I have DropBox. I'll have to check out linking picks from that.

Post by: TheSlyBear on August 22, 2012, 08:36:28 PM: Yes. Any file in any folder under the Public folder can be hot linked.

Log into your Dropbox account in Safari, navigate to the file you want, and click-hold until the context menu appears. There will be an option to copy the link to the file to the clipboard.

Post by: baldjoeg on August 23, 2012, 10:15:14 AM: Thanks for sharing this info. I am a photobucket user myself. I did not know that you can resize pictures on photobucket. I have had a lot of trouble in the past posting pictures to my profile becuause of the size problem. Wish I was more of a computer techy but I am not. It is out of my comfort zone.
