I'll be honest...I have MPB. When I was younger and losing it, I didn't have a problem shaving, but I missed doing different things with my hair. Now that I'm over 40, I can't see myself any other way.

I am proud of bald head and love it!

Went 3 days without shaving dome as i wanted to see how i felt about it. Couldnt wait to shave the head today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm most definitely am bald & happy.

In response to your earlier post, like someone else said, if you are still living under your parents roof, I would try your best to respect them. Maybe they don't get why you want to be bald & perhaps you should tell them why.... It may help. Next, I would suggest that you maintain a reasonable haircut & then perhaps have your head shaved for charity, of course, notifying your parents of your intentions. When I first got a really short buzz cut I had my parents blessing as I had joined the army cadets & i needed to maintain a regulation haircut.
Your situation is different, so I would seek your parents support.

I wouldn't recognise myself with hair now, I don't mind being bald at all, better bald than a comb over or see-through toupee lol

I wouldn't say I was proud, but I am certainly happy with my appearance as I didn't shave my head for a week and hated how it looked.

It's just there now. Not something I give a great deal of thought to! Saying that I went bowling tonight for my birthday and I don't see myself from the back often and my friend took a pic and I was kinda shocked at how bald I am, ha ha!

Yes...Yes I am. As a teenager and up until a year or so ago, I hid behind long hair and was very insecure. I had major issues with self-esteem, and slowly cut my hair shorter and shorter, and just decided...I don't need to have hair to "Look good" or fit an image. I was tired of using it as a crutch, and I wanted to be free of it.

By shaving off my hair, I have come to grips with the fact I look the way I look. And I've grown happier with my face, and learned confidence in this journey.

Why wouldn't I be proud with a shiny BALD head like this.   I love it. 

 Any bald guy that I have spoken to is proud and happy also.   Bald guys love being BALD.      It is a wonderful way to start a conversation (bald talk)  - -when out at a bar or restaurant.     

There is no other way.

I agree 100% Mangosink, and you do have a great looking dome. I seldom wear a hat so I can display my shiny bald head!

Yes, bald talk is great. I like to ask my fellow head shavers how long they have been shaving, and what kind of razor they use. I got a couple nods from baldies at the grocery store today.

That is a good point... guys that shave bald, like being bald!

Apart from when the sun is very hot and i Don't want a burnt head I  never wear a hat as I  want to show off my bald head.  A great conversation  starter too

I agree. I love the look and feel of a freshly shaved dome. For me, things can't be any more refreshing. Not long after I first shaved my head, one of my ship's senior officers asked me if I had lost a bet. My honest answer was "Nope. I just felt it was time for a change."

I love the feel of keeping my dome smooth as well. I just moved to Ohio and got my driver's license changed over. It somehow feels great that my license says "bald" next to the "hair color" question. Guess it feels more official. There's less and less up there anyway,  so I'm happy to be sly.

Put it this way; I don't wear hats so that I can show it off, & I definitely look forward to shave days (I do every other day).  I enjoy it, I enjoy the way I look with it.  So.....yes.  I'm proud.
