I want to try Tea Tree and Witch Hazel for my head after shaving.
Should i use Tea Tree first befor applying Witch Hazel?
I still get the odd spot after shaving after many years of shaving my dome. Everytime i shave i end up with the odd painfull acne like spot!

Witch hazel is an excellent astringent and should help with your problem. I'm not sure if applying both to your scalp is a good thing. If I had your problem, I'd abandon the tea tree oil(oil being the key word here) and just use the witch hazel alone until things clear up.

I was looking at the Witch hazel and Tea tree combined liquids you can buy not Tea tree oil on its own.

Oh, I had a similar problem and I saw a dermatologist and he fixed it right up so maybe you should consider doing the same. The doctor will take a swab and get it tested. It could be a scalp problem with an easy cure. You never know, a cure for it could be right around the corner.

I hate seeing the doc, plus, with covid, no chance unless emergency.
I bought a combined spray with Witch Hazel and Tee Tree. See how it goes.
Plus, i gone back to shaving with a DE. One blade instead of 3 with Mach 3.

Can't beat shaving with a de! I just got 100 blades for like $10 and I get a perfect shave every time.

Which blades and how many shaves with each blade?

I'm using the Dorco ST-301 blades and get a couple of shaves from each blade. The thicker blades will give me more shaves but not perfect ones so I'd rather do it this way.

Ok, thanks
