Title: removing shine from head with short buzz cut
Post by: KJK1LL3R on December 22, 2012, 07:51:58 PM
Guys, over the winter I am going to keep my hair at a short buzz cut of #1(3mm) or even #0(1.5mm) and I dont mind the look, except that the thinning on top means that the top of my scalp is quite shiny even with the hair.   I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get some Headlube Matte and apply it on top of the area to see if it could reduce the shine even though my head wont be shaved clean?

That would work.  When I had my head buzzed real short, I used to still moisturize it due to dryness and it worked fine.  No reason why Headlube Matte would not help take the shine away.  Just make sure you do not put it on too heavy and have it all rubbed in good.

I don't see why that wouldn't work. I say give it a crack.
