Whilst I love that BBS feeling on my head I'm finding it a little sensitive shaving every day. How often are you guys shaving? It's more the back corners of my head rather than at the front - could very well be tecnique also.
This is using Quattro Titanium and Palmolive Shave Stick. :)

I usually shave every third or fourth day, in most cases it's my first day off after a work rotation. Since I'm working this weekend, I will probably shave tomorrow (Monday) and the next shave will probably be Friday after working Wednesday/Thursday. But I do a random shave after only two days if I have something special going on...

many years i starts every day with a fresh headshave, now every other day.

I hate the sandpaper feel, so it's every morning for me. Love the bbs look and feel.

Usually every other day or 2.

Agree with you completely. Hate that sandpaper feel, so i also shave every morning. Its a big part of how i know im going to be bbc sly guy for life, even though im only a little more than 6months in. I simply wouldnt be able to deal with the sandpaper feel, even for just a couple days while the hair grows out to at least long enough to become soft to the touch

In general I shave every other day. But I do not shave ATG at the back of the head . If I would that area would itch. Sides go WTG and XTG , top ATG . No irritation this way.
-
Rarely is my razor is not in use every morning. I also am one who hates that sandpaper stubble.
I often have another go with my DE in the evening to get rid of the 5:00 o'clock shadow.
But, no, I am not an addict.

I also like the BBS feel/look. I usually shave twice a week. I use electric razor, and it takes me a decent amount of effort to get the BBS.
For those of you who like the BBS and are shaving more frequently, are you using electric razors or blades?
-
Yes, Lee, shaving every day, I find it easy to use an electric just on the sides and back. Then, when I have time, DE razor against the grain after a shower. If I'm in a hurry, I'll shave in the shower with a Schick Extreme 3 disposable razor. They work really well, the blade is actually curved a little. After all, your head has very little flat surface!
-
I shave typically every day. With the headblade I find I need to shave every day but with the de I can easily skip a day and sometimes do. I average 5-6 head shaves every full 7 day week
-
Usually every third day. As I am retired I don't have to front up to an office every day. However for special occasions will take up the razor again for that smooth look and feel.
-
I shave every 2 days, but I also hate the sandpaper... I find though I get a closer shave if I do it every 2 days unless I have an important event. I'll shave ATG every 2 days but do a proper WTG followed by ATG if I leave it more than 4 days
-
I shave my head every morning. As others have mentioned, I dislike the sandpaper feel as well. I let my head go a week once without shaving it and absolutely hated the look.

Basically means you run your hand across your head and feel 0 stubble in any and all directions. Even the tiniest bit of stubble felt in any direction then technically means a "BBS" shave was not fully achieved. You also may see/hear DFS (damn fine shave) meaning stubble felt atg only, CCS (close comfortable shave) meaning you may feel some stubble atg and xtg but wtg is smooth, and SAS (socially acceptable shave) which means stubble is felt in all directions except wtg and even then some stubble/shadow maybe slightly visible. SAS is your typical quick one passer just so your head looks shaved or, if talking about face shaving, what would be acceptable as the typical "white collar shave" while not taking the time to achieve anything beyond a visually acceptable shave. Hope this helps!
More info then what I just listed can always be found at badger and blade, shave den, or sharpologist. All of which I highly suggest checking out
