Yikes, that's huge! A web-sized JPEG photo should be less than 100K. For example, the non-reduced size of this photo is 81K.

How are you processing your photos? You're likely not reducing them to web-sized.

The shorter the better when it starts thinning, in my opinion.

For those others who went done the HT route,  how besides saying , WTF , and justshaving or  buzzing it, any siuggestions on how to  get over the so-called fear of actual of doing it.

i.e not knowing what U will look like, what the scar will look like etc etc

And the rest of you , this is a great site and admire the confidence you all show.

As you can see from the pics Im sporting the bald crown
i fidn it so uncomfortable with feel of a smooth head ( no hair ) in one section and hair everywhere else .

I need to take a week off work and try it but I have this anxiety that I do it and I still won't like it

F*CK!!

Take your time and weigh out the pros and cons for you personally. If you really don't feel comfortable or are not ready to shave, don't do it at this time.

There's no hurry and I'm sure that when you're good and ready, you'll appreciate it more.

Good  luck!

Come on, quit fooling yourself--you know you don't like balding.  Try bald--because you'll never really get used to balding, will you?  Buzz really short, hot shower & shampoo, new blade & gel, take your time--and you're free--that's the plan, or let each hair fall by the wayside, on the pillow, in the brush, slowly over the next few months, maybe years.  They will fall out, but not neatly--only you can make this neat.

Today I had it buzzed with a 1 1/2 guard
I am aware of the scar
How noticeable does it look

I am off work for a week  so I can either cut it shorter or let it grow to cover the scar

Less noticeable by far than your bald spot and receding hairline.  Yield to the itch, shave it to the bone.
