« on: September 28, 2020, 04:32:44 PM »
I’ve been shaving about 6 week but today is one of the few times
That I did not cut myself and actually feel smooth. It takes take me a long time too.
Hopefully I will get faster over time.

It took me a long time to get a shave without a nick as well.  I found, at least for me, that using a multi-blade high quality razor was worth the cost.  I was able to get my shave routine down to about 5 minutes if I shave in the shower.  I only get a nick about once or twice a year now.

Thanks for the advice I just use a electric razor right now I am trying to get my skin used to shaving before I try a real blade.

Yes, do whatever works best for you Jim. It takes a few months for your head to toughen up and get used to shaving. You can gradually introduce a blade, and you will love a totally smooth headshave.

Actually, I use an electric shaver on the sides and back everyday before I razor shave in the shower. After you get the technique of shaving with a razor, you should seldom get a knick. Don't get discouraged, you will soon become an expert headshaver!
Bald by choice, and loving it!
