Title: Urlacher gets a hair transplant
Post by: Sir Harry on January 05, 2016, 10:49:50 AM
Long time Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher recently got a hair transplant. Granted, I'm not at liberty to judge, but I thought he looked better bald. Tried to shoot a link to a story or video but not having much success, so when all else fails, Google it.

I don't think it looks good at all.  Shame that it plays right into the myth that you have to have hair to be happy.

Thanks for shooting the video/link Razor. One day, I'm going to get this right. Your dogs may be more tech savvy than me >:D

All you do is cut and paste the link.  But the embedded video does not show up on Apple devices -- I think it has something to do with Apple not being Flash-compatible.   So if you're on an iPad or iPhone, it may not look like it worked, even if it did.

I have seen him in a few places talking about this today. I wonder how much cash he raked in for "plugging" their clinic? (see what i did there)

I have to think that this was a sponsorship of some sort by the company that did it.

Well, he said that he had the option to shave, so it could very well be corporate related.

And i remember that from day one here in Chicago he used to get his high and tight crew cut done every week at a shop up in North Chicago.  He always "said" that since 7th grade he and his buddy used to buzz eachother's head becuause he couldn't STAND it when it got the least bit furry on the neck or sides.

I really thing he looks better shaved than with hair.

I like his bald look better as well.  What will he do as the MPB continues to progress?  Better hope he is still playing football and getting "free" plugs at the clinic when it happens.

Looks good.  I don't blame him, I'd so the same thing if I had the funds beats wearing hat all the time and feeling down

Good luck to him if he's happy. Looks ok. Had never heard of him so looked him up I'd say hair / no hair is pretty equal footing for him.

If it makes him happy, then it's the right choice for him.

He looks SO much better bald.

I would hold him up as an example to our balding friends on the fence.

And I saw a lot of women commenting online on this, and they all said better bald.

I agree he should do what's good for him, but making this seem realistic for most bald dudes is unrealistic.

Despite their prowess on the field, tell me who looks more threatening...Urlacher or..

Once you go down the hair transplant route you're stuck taking propecia and rogaine for the rest of your life. It's not worth the side effects of having damaged libdo. One other thing they don't tell you is you will have to back and back for surgery as your natural hair falls out anyway!!. I have seen some guys on the hair network going back for their 4th and 5th surgery.  Just my opinion if guys want to go down that route best of luck to them but it's not a case of one magic surgery and our hair is back .I wouldn't be surprised if he was using hair fibers as well. You don't get that luck from one operation .But if he is happy best of luck to him
