Title: Mark on head
Post by: j.wiffen on August 10, 2015, 11:22:19 AM
Hi

I'm looking for a bit of advice really. Over the last couple of days a small scar/cut/mark has appeared on my head. I don't remember catching it on anything. It hasn't bled, but is a bit tender. I was just looking for some advice of what it could be.

I'm 28 year old living in London. I'm not a fan of the sun (not that there is much in England), and rarely ever go out in it.

I've attached a photo and would appreciate any advice.

Thanks

James

Welcome! I would check with a doctor/dermatologist to make sure it's nothing more serious. Is there anything that you are allergic to that you may have come in contact with?

Looks like a graze but if you don't remember banging your head I'm not sure. I agree with Harry, if it's bothering you go and get it checked out mate.

It looks like you bumped or grazed it on something - such as a cabinet door, etc.

But if it doesn't heal within one or two days get yourself to a dermatologist.  I have had skin cancer several times; it is nothing to fool with!

Thanks all for your replies. I've booked to see a doctor next week, but hopefully it will have healed by then.
