Being out in the hot sun in the summer without a full head of hair is so much cooler! And you can cool down much easier, by just throwing a cold wet towel on your head and neck for a few minuets.

I guess you don't have the searing Aussie sun, I gotta cover up most of the time in the summer. though at the moment I'm about to hit winter

That's a great advantage! They make cool towels now that you can wet and it will keep you cool for a while.

I've got to look into one of those. I'm going to look into some nice fedoras for extra protection, but so far the sunscreen has served my head quite well.

I'm reminded of this advantage every year when the weather gets nice, rolling down all the windows in my car. No hair to mess up, and love the feel of the cool air wrapping around my freshly shaved head!

True! Today, I've purchased a nice fedora to cut down on the need for sunscreen at times.
It's no Borsalino, but still good.

I never was much of a hat fan, but I find it necessary to wear them every now and then now, if the sun is strong. And the lack of hat hair is quite, quite nice!
