Back in my teens, when I used to get a #1 buzz, everyone referred to it as "shaved". I think most people consider #1 or shorter shaved.

Until you shave your head with a razor, yes, a closely clippered haircut looks shaved. It's only when your head is shaved BBS, you truly appreciate the term "shaved head". I think the smoothness of a razor shaved head is what many of us become addicted to. Great feeling!

I have to agree with the post here. When I clipper shaved my head it still felt like I had a head of hair. For me since my hair was thinner on top it looked MPB which I felt made me look older. When I razored shaved my head smooth, it felt really different. At first it felt really soft so I get the BBS comment. After shaving a couple months it feels natural. Buzzzed versus shaved is a big difference.
