Title: Anyone have problems with "soft" moles on the head?
Post by: Pub on March 25, 2016, 05:50:44 PM
I have a mole on my head that I catch every single time with cartridges, so I'm pretty nervous about slicing the whole thing right off with a DE. It's like the mole is too "soft" so it just kinda gives in to the blades and get nicked, every time.

Going slow doesn't work. Fresh cartridge doesn't work. Direction doesn't make a difference, ATG or WTG. It's sorta all the same, it just gets caught and I nick it.

Anyone else have that kind of thing? Any suggestions?

        1.  Use an electric shaver on that area.

         2.  Have a doctor remove the mole.

Adding on to what Magoo wrote, if you go the route of removal, a dermatologist might be a better option depending. I would make sure that the mole is not something more serious.

P.S. Thanks, Magoo for the suggestions

I have the exact same problem as you but i haven't cut mine yet. I've been using a two blade at the moment and once you go slow you won't cut it. However any sly man with a mole on his head should get it removed as your only asking for trouble leaving it there.(Skin cancer etc). I've been a bit lazy in that i should have been to the doctor to get it removed.Once its gone im going up to a 3 blade.
