hey my fellow sly brahs...i was just wondering your favorite footwear of choice. my favorite sneakers r k-swiss & nike is my 2nd favorite. casual wear i like the brown leather skechers shoes with the square toes. since i live in beautiful florida, i usually wear any type of closed-toed leather sandals. anyways.... what's your footwear of choice?

For work: Clarks Dress Shoes
For Home: Dock Martens O0 (and some cheap flops in the summer)
For Gym: New Balance
Dock Martens last forever by the way...

I like wearing Nike basketball shoes for casual....I like wearing timberland boots and dress shoes for more dressy affairs

I gotta agree with Tyler, flip flops and sandals are the way to go.
I felt this way back East and even more so out here in sunny AZ.
For work I have worn more dressy laceups and Rockport or Clarks.
I also like Skecher's casual sneakers and shoes for with jeans.
And I agree with X on the Doc Marten thing. They are a great shoe and I miss wearing them (gonna have to get a new pair soon).

Rest of the time (which is most of the time) - Leather Sandals (Bass) and an assortment of flip flops.

Any kind of real comfortable sneaker is good for me. No specific name brand, even though I have had more Adidas Shell Toes and Vans in the past then anything else. Other than that I will wear a comfortable pair of flip flops once in a while. But mostly it's what I see and what I try on that feels good on me. I'm not a "name brand" kind of guy.

For work, Deer Stags. They're inexpensive and comfortable.
For working out and running, New Balance
For around the house, just my socks
I have odd feet, I am 6'2" and size 8.5 wide. If I can't get wide, I go with size 9 shoe.

Just takin it easy on the weekend or going out dancin: Justin lace up Pit Stop work boots. Already on my second re-sole. I won't give them up and the wife hates that.
Work: Black leather Skechers, very comfortable
Going to the lake or the once in a blue moon I wear shorts: Sandals or Nikes

In dress up times I always rock out Rockport leather wings,polished to a shine,just like my noggin.

I mostly wear nike air max summit or other (pink,black and white, I love 'em)
but, I have some cute ballet pumps (black pair, white pair) got them a couple of weeks ago, thought I should get both colours,
bought some new red shoes on thursday (I liked em when I saw them)
I have some blue and pink puma that I wear,
colder weather, I have a few pairs of boots (flats or heels dependant on where I'm going and if a lot of walking is involved)
some cute pink shoes with diamantes on them , slingbacks, if ya know what they are
some gawjuss red stilettos's (I've only ever worn them around the house, but I love them so much) when I wear them, it would probably make me taller than most of you,
and my most favourite pair are red and glittery and I get called Dorothy when I wear them.
I LOVE Mary Janes (no idea why!!)
I have loads more, but I'm a woman, and that's what we do, no sense in trying to work out why, it just is... ;)

Winter, western boots 90% of the time, dress shoes if I have to dress up, summer time tennis shoes. Sometimes western boots. Tony Llama's are my brand of choice for boots, Nike's for tennis shoes. You'll never see me in sandals unless I'm at the beach. Never found them comfortable.

Kajun hunny, I think it's time you went and got yourself a sense of humour. It's waaaaaaaaaay overdue. I'm sure I've seen them advertised on ebay. I'll pay the p & p (probably be pretty expensive, you're gonna be needing a BIG one!) :/O

Casual: White Adidas or Lug Boots
Athletic: Adidas
Wrestling: Adidas
Sandal: Adidas, both flipflop and 2 strap sport sandal
Workboot: CAT
Summer Shoe: Croc Off Road
I have an incredibley messed up foot, it's a size 8/8.5 with the width of a 9, and Adidas seems to be the brand that has the wides width. I also noticed that skate shoes are very wide.

Magma, I have a sense of humor but it don't include disguised insults, degrading remarks and personal attacks as "humor" ....i have never said one ill word to you..nor to anyone on this forum and when you decided to insult my country and its people in the form of a thinly veiled "joke".. i decided to report it to the moderators to handle it instead of responding to you...when you took your hiatus from the board after it was deleted, you came back and made a few snide comments directed at me......again..i didnt respond.....this time i did.
I don't come here to be the target of anyone's personal attacks...i give everyone the respect and courtesy they deserve, bald guys have to hear insults and snide remarks all the time we shouldn't have to hear it here..i highly doubt tyler had that in mind when he made this forum......even your signature "Is that your face or are you trying to be funny?" is offensive...do you realize that the majority of people come to this forum because they are worried about their looks? and to get the self-confidence on how to deal with it?..how does another personal attack on someone's looks help that?
i have nothing against you and do not wish to argue with you or to be enemies with you.......if you wish i will stay in my corner and you in yours ...that way we can maintain the spirit of this forum.

Firstly, that article I posted that you took offense to, was satirical. SATIRE kajun, you may need to look the meaning of the word up. Pretty much everyone here got the joke, apart from you.
Secondly, I find it highly amusing that someone who can take offense at the John Cleese thread I posted, will then go on to post a joke about a marine and two arabs. But of course, nooooo, that joke wouldn't be offensive, because it's a joke, right?!!...

For their lightness and feel I like Merrell Continuum tennis shoes. I had always wore cheap shoes before but never again... your feet will love you for it.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a pretty thin skinned guy when it comes to national affairs (especially when the Administration is attacked from within from people dealing without facts). However, even I got the joke of John Cleese's (of Monty Python fame...hello?) satire.

Oh yeah ... I remember that video. I think that was Metallica's first video actually. Good times... My avatar comes from me playing around on photoshop over the weekend and this pic that I came up with I thought would be an amusing avatar.
As for the joke Kajun is talking about ... I have read this infamous joke and thought it was funny as hell. I am an american and thought it was quite funny. I don't see what all the fuss is about personally. It was also obvious that magma was just joking on the shoes and that didn't seem like a personal attack to me...

I remember reading that John Cleese routine quite a long time ago. I may be mistaken, but I seem to remember that it first popped up around 2000 and it in its original form it was making fun of the 2000 US Presidential campaign and the lack of a clear-cut winner for the first 30 days or so. As such, it wasn't taking shots at any President, Administration or candidate. It was making fun of the US, but that particular election was fair play as a target for jokes.

Thumbs up to all you guys in cowboy boots. I love my Justins and lizard skin boots. For me in the summer, it's my nikes and flip flops. Rest of the year it's all about boots -- cowboy boots, my black workboots and how can i forget my all time favorite -- my Timerland version of the Blunie.

My favorite brand has always been Nike. I’ve worn Nike athletic shoes, such as Air Force Ones, casually. I also wear a lot of urban footwear like Lugz, Phat Farm and Timberland.

I do logging boots most days but at work I have to wear SWAT Tactical boots which I like. Nice occasions or church I wear dressy sneakers or loafers.

LL Bean Mocs around the house , athletic shoes most other times.

RM Williams boots in black for work, and brown for formal occasions.
On the weekend I live in my Birkenstock Arizona or Sperry boat shoes.
