Post by: Tchelo on November 29, 2016, 03:13:14 AM
Hello,

First of all wanna say I'm Portuguese, so English is not my first language and sorry about any mistakes.

You guys give a example with your stories and confidence to go Sly.

And i say why i spend so much time without shave my head smooth.

Will post photos on my 30 days rule.

Welcome to the board!

Sly looks great on you....but why didn't you keep the goatee? Nonetheless,  you wear sly well. Congratulations.

Welcome! Your bald look is way better in my opinion! The beard looks great, maybe try it out with the bald head? A beard looks really good with a shaved head - and you have a great beard for it!

Happy for you man, looking great

Welcome to SBG! It does look great and it's amazing how much younger it makes you look. I think you'll enjoy the beard with the bald head.

What part of Portugal do you live in? My grandfather is from the Azores.

Hello,

Thank for all the compliments, feels great have a shave head and better with yours encourage.

Situation on Shaved Journey, Day 2:

Shaved with a Headblade Sport, really need experience to use so finished with Gillette fusion.

Also shaved against the grain, since i had sensitive skin i get surprise by don't have any problems than usual. Had a previously pimples scare are healing but the shave don't make any problems to make this situation worst.

Discoverer I'm not a cream shave guy, already order a Headblade gel from a a website in London.

Scape the face shave and started grow my beard again, post a photo when its full grow.

Definitely shaving the head its a learning process, i tried to find my away to be more comfortable.

Sometimes beginners think its easy when we see the videos on youtube.

@Tyler I'm live close to Coimbra on centre of Portugal, its cool you have a little of Portuguese blood :)

About ten years ago I visited Portugal and also Spain (Camino).  I really liked the Duoro valley and Oporto, visited Coimbra (traffic very fierce) and remember a wonderful fish dinner with lots of fresh white wine at Nazare.  The trip also included Cascais, Estoril, Lisbon, Setubal and Evora.  Wonderful memories.  Don't remember many shaved heads then.

Forgot say my last post. Last photo is a 3 days beard with my 4th shave.
Now the bumps and burn razors on my back started to heal, shaved everyday really helps for me. For now i liked more a stick razor then a headblade but use headblade first and gillete for missing  spots. Its weird but shave just to water, no gel or cream its better to my scalp, less irritation for me.

Being shaved bald its the greatest thing i have made. Everytime i see me in the mirror give a great bust on my cofindence.

Thanks for all and for reading this bald diaries.

You have a great looking bald head! Keep growing the beard, it looks good.

I would keep trying some kind of shaving soap, maybe get a brush too. I use the Cremo cream, good lubrication for headshaving.

I'm glad to hear you like the shaved head style.

Half away on my 30 days rules.

Love it.

Missed one day and didn't like the Velcro feeling, also had a few problems of ingrowing hair because missing one day, but started heal now.

Quiet confortable with my routine now, shave at night, first clean with soap, than shampoo to soften the hair for a couple minutes, Headblade slick gel and Gillette fusion do the magic.

Rinse with cold water, nivea aftershave, alcool and a braziliam cream "minancora" for heal the skin.

Im a shower shave and feel by touch without mirror.

It's a year since my last post.

Last year trough winter for personal reasons I maintain my bald head with buzz cuts between 1 and no guard. But when summer back take the razor and go sly bald, again, a smooth dome has no price.

This summer I notice a increase of shaved heads here.

Who are thinking about shave for first time, take the razor and be proud no matter what's.

you make it look easy. honestly, any dude who gives you negative comments are those who can't pull off the look as you do. i think a lot of guys just thinning or with bad hair would dream to look this strong. rock on man

Thanks for the positive feedback.

Scooby. If your work don't have any rules about your look (sometimes they have), be proud of you no matter what. The most important thing is how you feel and not the other's. Sorry my English, is a bite rusty.
