Everytime i shave my head with a razor i get some spots.
I only go with the grain. Prepare thoroughly before. Cold water after and witch hazel. Tried mach3 and DE.
So, i am thinking of trying a different route.
Andis foil shaver
Or
Andis slimline pro trimmer with zero set blade
Which would you go for if you couldnt use a razor?
I am thinking the slimline pro would probably be less aggressive on the skin?
Any advice much appreciated
Thanks

The Slimline Pro is a trimmer, not a shaver. So yes, it would be less aggressive. It will give you a close buzz, not really a shave. The foil shaver is good, I have one that I use when traveling. It does take some time for me to use it to make sure I get my entire head shaved, so the trimmer should be faster as well. I have had some irritation with the foil, but I normally get some irritation when I change how I shave.
So if you are OK with some stubble, the trimmer should be fine and get the job done.

Yes, stubble is fine. It can be altered to a zero gap too. Very easy looking at youtube videos.
I know its a trimmer. I was looking at it as it can be set to a zero gap. My present beard trimmer cant.
I used to have a Braun foil shaver and i used to get some irritation with that.
Thanks

I bought the trimmer. I will set it to zero and give it a try.

Tried the trimmer. Not for me. Returning it.
