Title: What do you look for in a shaving cream, gel or oil?
Post by: Tyler on May 27, 2015, 03:43:00 PM
When you buy a shaving cream,  gel or oil,  what do you look for?  What type of texture, smell, etc?

I have to admit I need to investigate a few more, currently I am still using the shaving gel that I used to buy when I shaved my face, found I had a few unopened bottles indoors

King of shaves gel is the only one I have tried, it's ok but I find shaving my head with it tends to cause it to migrate down my face - this could be a problem with other gels, I have no idea!

I don't use anything like a shaving brush either, just my hands.

I like king of shaves gel, very nice shave and zero irritation

I'm currently using nivea sensitive cream, and it's great! Only comes in a small tube, but it's better for me that the king of shaves, close with no irritation

I prefer creams because gels feel too sticky to me. I always look at the ingredients and if the product is cruelty-free.
