Just Witch Hazel?
« on: November 22, 2020, 12:16:06 PM »
Should i use just Witch Hazel alone after my head shave?

As pointed out before, i keep getting the odd 'spot' on my head after shaving. I really warm up the head before shaving. Changed to conditioner to shave. Cold water after shave. I shave with a DE. WTG.....

Tonight i shaved ATG for a change and after cold wash, liberal amounts of Witch Hazel only. No moisturiser this time.

If the spots you mention are caused by clogged pores, I would say the less product you use, the better.

You may remember I get a foliculttis on the back of my head periodically. I have to be very careful about using moisturizers. I find the best thing is just witch hazel right after I get out of the shower.
Bald by choice, and loving it!

Good advice my friend. I will stick with the conditioner to shave and only Witch Hazel after the shave. See how i get one.

Thank you friend...
