I am trying to shave this weekend but I can't get over the fact of how big, narrow, uneven and pointy my head is. Will it look any smaller when the hair is fully shaved. I attached a picture of when I buzzed it before.

It is going to look great - don't worry about your head shape or size. It may take you some time to adjust to the new look, so do not be surprised if you think it looks odd at first, give it some time.

hey man, you got nothing to worry about, shape of head, etc. I predict you'll be a natural and feel good about it. take it from NW7and counting here. LOL.

No, your head has a very nice shape! And I think that you will notice how much more symmetrical it looks to you once it is all smooth and uniform in color.

I agree with everyone else, your head shape is good. Only one way to tell if you like it, give it a shave, and keep it for 30 days. I think you will look badass with a shaved head and a great pair of sunglasses!

just noticed your before pic. when I got started I was balding a little more than where you are now but i was crowing too.

The reality is that even if you don't like it your hair will be back to where it is in a week or two.

It looks much better already. Try with the razor, you're so lucky to be blonde....no signs of shadow.

Thanks! I will admit it looks better than I thought and better than it did when I had long hair with a bald spot. Just wanna see if I like this better than the 2 blade. I'll try a razor next to see what it looks like but I like this better than the razor due to ease of shaving.

i’m pretty sure that it will look a lot better to you when you shave with a razor because it all the color will be luniform. You might want to try re-shaping you beard a bit because righ now your beard makes the bottom half of your face look wider than the top - thus giving the false impression that your head is narrow and “pointy” as you said. There’s nothing at all wrong with the shape of your head you might want to try taking the sides of your beard in a little bit I’m leaving the length of the bottle with a beard narrow the whole bottom half of your face and make it fit the same width as the rest of your head. just a thought from a barber!

I was thinking the same thing about the beard. I'm going to trim it down some. I'm getting use to the head shape but it didn't help my mother said I look like a white supremacist. Definitely not the look I'm going for

Ahggg, mothers are the absolutely worst critics when their sons shave their head! Don't worry, she might not like it, but she'll get used to it. Stick with it, you look good!

looks really good. your head is so normal, btw. trust me, you'll grow to love it. and with that, any anxiety of loosing hair become history. it's really liberating.

Looks great, a definite keeper. Just stick with it it will take you and your mother a while to get used to it but it will be worth it.

Looks great. Try not to trim too much from the beard - take it slow.
