welcome newbie. Try shaving. If you like a bald head then your problem will be fixed. If not, you can regrow it and look for another solution.

Too simple, keep and look old--35 or so, shave it and look your age and you don't have to watch it getting thinner--pretty simple. Go get your blade ready and do it.

If you do it now, you will spared the rest of the long agonizing process. It's a big step, no doubt, but chances are that you will love the new sly look.

Of course I'm going to say to try it too. But you also have enough hair that if you buzz it very short (and I do mean VERY short), it will be less obvious how much you're balding which should help ease some of your anxiety. It will also give you a very good idea what it will look like if (when!) you take the final step. Keep us posted.

Dude...you still have a LOT of hair...its pretty thin though. I would cut it down to a level 1 and it will just look like you cut your hair short and no one will be able to tell your balding at all. And at 23 years old I am sure that is of paramount importance to you...I know it was to me and most other guys here.
If you really like it like that you can take it down to the skin.

It's unanimous! give it a shot and see how you like it.
You can also buzz it down close with a #1 guard to see how you like the look.
I am betting you will like it, and probably bring it down to a 0 shortly thereafter.
Shaving it from there is very easy, just make sure to use a good gel, and I recommend a Mach III for your first shave; very easy and comfortable to use.
I also agree with Tyler's second point as well: nothing is going to make your hair thicker.
Confidence will come when you take control. O0

A very short buzz or a shaved head are your best options. Most people get the short buzz first and live with that for a while. It is a good look. But remember if you opt for a head shave, it only takes a few days for the hair to grow back to the short buzzed look. Despite how you may feel you are not making a life-time, no turning back decision whatever way you go. So satisfy your curiosity.

Close buzz or shave -- give it a go. The fact you're here shows you're interested in doing it. You'll never know until you try.

Give it a shot. If you hate it your hair will grow back but I don't think you'll hate it.
