Title: The Soap Works Olive Oil Soap (as shaving soap)
Post by: Sri on January 06, 2021, 08:05:00 AM
Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted. I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy and safe.

I recently started using The Soap Work Olive Oil Soap as a shaving soap—just wet your shaving brush and rub in circles on the bar until you've got a lather, then use the brush to spread the lather on the shaving areas—after having struggled to find a cream/soap that was the right degree of thickness, creaminess and lightness to work on single-edge, double-edge and wet electric razors. I also have very dry skin that flakes even after just a hot shower with a mild soap, so most of the canned creams just leave me in worse shape than if I went unshaved.

I tried this soap on a whim after seeing them at Bulk Barn and it works well for both the face and the scalp. It doesn't smell very strongly of olive oil, though it does have that scent, and it leaves the skin soft and not at all greasy or dry.
