Is going to be a huge change,of course some of your friends, family,co workers are going to react. But don't worry, that pass after a few days.

I think you can pull it off the smooth dome, give it a try with a big beard ... you're going to love it.

Don't wait until spring!!

maybe what you should do is ease into it by buzz cut your hair a little at a time, this way you get use to it a little at a time plus people around you get use to it,then when your ready you can shave it clean.just remember it does not matter what any one else thinks, all that matters is what makes you happy.thats what i did and it worked perfect.

Welcome!

Your hair looks pretty decent to me. Yes the hairline is a little high, but maybe just try a shorter haircut at first? Then if you still have the urge to shave later, you can try it and just grow it back if you don't like it/

I'm not sure why you want to shave your head. Unless you see guys with shaved heads and think they look great, you still have plenty of hair. Maybe try a different style? The only reason your forehead looks big is the receding hairline. Perfectly normal.
Bald by choice, and loving it!

I see your thinning but it's not that bad. You would look bad-ass w/ a #2 or #1 buzz. At that point you could forget about hair problems forevermore.

Since you have posted here, I think you already really want to shave.  Like others have said, you still have a lot of hair.  I was in a similar position and wanted to shave at my first signs of thinning and I did.  My thinning continued and I have little hair left on top, but I never really had to deal with balding since I had already started shaving.

So go with the shorter haircut, and by spring you will have more courage to shave it.  The reality is, no body really cares.  You will get a few comment, but you will get those for any change.

 Well DoneSir!

It is  only my opinion but I think it makes you look younger and a lot more “vigorous” if you know what I mean?

Don’t put any pressure on yourself -  just stick to the 30 day rule and make a decision at the end of 30 days!    just take that new look out in public  for a “test ride”!   have fun with it; I think you’ll enjoy it

Looks great and it will look even better once your scalp gets some color on it.  I bet you love the feeling of it as well.  The beard looks great with it as well. I am partial to the bald and bearded combination.
