Hello!!
So cool to find a community of bald men where I have seen a few of the same faces interact with one another while I was lurking, haha.
I'm a nursing student, certified first responder, and work in admin for a clinical therapy institute.
Hobbies include drinking an IPA after work/lifting in the gym, cooking, and eating.
I am looking for really awesome support in choosing to be bald. I sweat a lot in the gym and during the summer, so hair was always getting sticky with product, making me break out and sometimes holding me back from doing things I wanted to do because I was concerned with how my hair looked after participating in certain activities.
I noticed my hairline started to recede a little on both high points of my temple's, so I decided to get over the whole balding "issue" and go against the grain and own who you are... and luckily I have a pretty nicely shaped head. How awesome to stand out and own the masculinity of having high levels of testosterone.
I tell everyone who asks "why?" that its easier, cuts time getting ready, ritualistic/therapeutic, always looks the same, minimal care/expense, and everyone knows whose boss when I enter the room. Nothing more liberating!
Thank you

Welcome! You have a nice beard as well. Bald and bearded just seem to go well together to me.

Welcome. Nice intro! But I have one question. If the hair bothered you in the gym doesn't that massive beard bother your as well?

You seriously have a thing against beards, don't you?
