I stopped shaving my head February first, but Sunday morning I will join you guys in baldness again.
I ran into a guy that was working at a thrift store today that had a great looking shaved head. Of course I had to tell him nice haircut. He thanked me and we had a nice discussion about head shaving. He's been shaving for 6 months are likes it. I'm at that point where you are constantly thinking about shaving, so I'm looking forward to mowing off my long flattop!

Hey Reddog, you have a pic of the flattop? Plus how about you do a cool How to Video on how to shave your head since you're shaving the long hair off?
-
Self cut by the way.
-
Couldn't wait, smooth as a babies butt again. Feels great!
-
Welcome back to the sly party, reddog!
-
Reddog, I sent you a message to your inbox. Plus that's one heck of a flattop for you to do it yourself! Proud of ya! You should feel good about yourself having a barber telling you that's a perfect flattop. Haha.
-
Welcome back to the frat, sir!
-
Did a good job w/ the flattop Reddog. You may have a second career ....

Yes, I've been cutting my oldest brothers hair for about 6 months. Last week he asked me to buzz it real short so he could get some color on his head because he wants me to shave his head next time.
-
Reddog that sounds awesome! How did you react when your brother said he wants it bald like you? Haha.
-
I was a little surprised, but I'm sure he must have liked how I looked bald. We look alot alike except he is getting pretty bald on top, so he should look good. I took him down to a#1 and told him if he doesn't like the headshave, it will grow back to #1 in about 10 days. I'll try to post a two bald brothers photo when done.
-
Tell you what. Would you consider learning how to cut hair Mr.Reddog sir? I wouldn't mind teaching you a little something. O0
-
Nope, I'm retired!
-
Good to see you are back to sly again Reddog and also your brother may decide that is the way to go.
I have lunch regularly with a group of old workmates - we are all retired for some years all in our 70s. Six of the seven including me have beards and five of the six have lost or are losing most of their hair. Despite occasional comments I have been totally unsuccessful in convincing any of them to go sly.
-
Reddog, I'm looking forward to seeing the photo of you two, bald!
LOL.
Fond memories of lunch with you and Joe in Minneapolis last fall. Almost can't imagine you with hair. You rock the bald head, and the nice white beard.

Thanks for the kind words Dan. Yes meeting you was great. And the last thing I did last night after clippering and shaving my head bald was splashing on the Clubman after shave you gave me. I looked and smelled like I just stepped out of the barbershop!
Yeah, I don't know why I periodically try to grow hair back. After I shave it, I look in the mirror and say "darn the looks good". Couldn't wait to go out shopping this morning to show off my new haircut!

Looking good Reddog. You look great with the flat top and sly. Love that goatee of yours too.
-
Reddog,
You wear the sly look well!
-
Thanks Steve! I'm not into the long beards, but I have always liked yours. Always well groomed and great color. Love your new car, too.

I had a very, very bad work injury and had my right shoulder and muscle group rebuilt three years ago. Following surgery, I went three days without a shave. Even with the excruciating pain, the stubble drove me crazy. That first shower shave was great and I had to learn to shave(and brush teeth) with left hand. I did it though. The shaves were not as good as usual because I couldnt use a free hand to pull my scalp taunt. Three days growth was the most hair I had on my head in decades and I felt like a hippie! That first post-surgery shave was a GREAT feeling! I felt like a human being again.
