Holy guacamole Batman!
I just shaved my Royal Crown using just oil.
(Pacific Natural) I was generous with the amount.
(I was kinda scared...)
It may in fact be the best head shave yet.
I then followed up on the neck and cheeks.
Still great.
Using a HB with a fresh dual blade (Gillette) and a Sensor for the neck and cheeks.
Followed up with a cold water rinse, then some Witch Hazel.
Now I can't stop feeling myself.

Hey I was actually come to the board this morning to thank you and Tyler for your posts yesterday regarding shaving oil. Went out and bought myself some and shaved last night. (I'm on day 5 of bald)
I have to admit I starting shaving oil only and it just didn't feel right so I put a little shaving gel on top of it.
Holy *#$* is my head ever smooth. Fantastic feeling.
Thanks again.

I always shave in the shower or during the shower being sure to get my head well soaked with hot water. Makes a
big difference regardless of the protocol I follow up with.

Living on a well, well at least our well, means shaving in the shower is just not going to happen - I did quickly learn though to shave immediately after getting out of the shower - the second time I made the mistake of not being quick on things - one of those mistakes you only make once

1 day update:
After 24 hours yesterday's shave proves to be the closest yet with the least amount of 24 hour growth.
I did another shave today just the same but using Shave Secret oil instead.
Another nick free shave.
Off to my lessons...

After this post I will stop all my redundancy with it.
3rd day of using ONLY a shaving oil.
As I stated yesterday my stubble (24 hours) was
the least ever (again).
And again today it is the smoothest, plus I have had again NO NICKS.
Not even nicking where I had previously nicked and there is a tiny scab!
Only my 11th consecutive day of dome shaving and I have a lot to experiment with for other products, plus I do have the Panasonic electric now also.
