For me, its primarily about the feel and comfort.  I like shaving my head against the grain at least once daily and I like the feel of being completely slick (with a lot of glare also!)  A lot of that comes from serving with the infantry and living almost indefinitely in the field.  Being totally bald makes hygiene a heck of a lot easier and for me, meant being more comfortable.  I think  we all have to admit, the feeling of being a completely slick bald man is unequaled.

Reasons:

-have always dug the look of a completely shaved head...

-pretty much have a full head of hair but thought the look was one I had to have because there was  always  a"cool" mystique about it and I wanted to be "that guy"

 - I look way better bald than with hair..and most people agree

-and the biggest reason... I have a ton more confidence bald than with hair! O0

I'm bald-by-choice. So I'll have to echo BaldAndre's sentiments on this matter. Except for one. Most people think I look better with my previous look which was my signature buzz. After two years bald you'd think they ease up on pressuring me to grow it back. It's not their hair and I don't appreciate their opinion when it comes to this matter.  :Xo!

I have to say it is all the above EXCEPT I wasn't balding at all lol. I chose maintenance but I really did it for all the reasons except balding (Though I always said I'd go bald at the first sign of losing my hair anyways...guess i just nipped it in the bud  ;D )

My reason is all of the above.  But when the front started going, it seemed to me that it was time since I didn't want to hold on to the hair like my dad did.  But I really like the look better anyway.

My number one reason is that the women love it!!  It definitely makes you look different than everyone else.

couple of reasons:
- balding anyway
- better suits my lifestyle
- makes me look better than i did with the hair i had
Reasons:

-have always dug the look of a completely shaved head...

 - I look way better bald than with hair..and most people agree

-and the biggest reason... I have a ton more confidence bald than with hair! O0

Everything in these quotes, but MPB made me take the leap to the SLY side. O:O
Tis better to have a bald head than no head at all.

About 10 years ago I was travelling in Thailand and decided to shave my head. From the get go I was  really pretty happy with this new look and being away from people I knew made it very easy to do. I have kept it more or less over the years but now I am being assisted by nature and MPB is the factor these days. She must have known I was a receptive candidate   O0

All of the above, I only have one person in my life that don't like it, but they can get used to it.

Had the MPB thing going on and kept telling the wife I wondered how I would look when it all fell out. She said just shave it off and you'll know. I left work on Friday with a nice headfull of hair but with receding hairline. Showed up Monday morning looking sly and confident. I've had nothing but compliments since. Plus.... I am way too sexy for hair.
Don't blame me. I voted for the old guy and the hot chick!
