i have not shaved my head yet. i am going bald tho. i have been iraq for 14 months, it got real bad while i was out here and im about to see my wife for the first time since july. i dont know if she would approve of me shaving my head. what should i do. its almost like a new first impression.

Welcome to the gang ooblie.   Let me be the first to tell you to GO FOR IT.      Being in the military, buzz and shaved heads are nothing new and doing it now let's you get used to the new and improved you.  And do you really think that after 14 months deployment your wife isn't going to be delighted to have you home sly or not?

get out the shave creme and the Schick and go bald.  I started shaving my head in 83 wheh I was on active duty. Slick is the way to go in the field. Completely bald is the only haircut for a Soldier, Marine, or policeman.

I would say go for it!  Shave it off.  It probably won't look much different than it does now.  Besides that, after 14 months I don't think your wife cares WHAT you look like.  lol

If that is you in your display pik u look bald to me. So how u a poser? LOL And if you are worried what ur wife may think when u meet up with her tell her it is new Military Protocal. LOL
