another meeting of SBG's

One week from today Paul is headed to Iowa to take care of some stuff. While here, we are gonna meet up and have one helluva good time. Start at Outlaw Ink (my Tat shop), where I will no doubtedly be getting MORE ink lol, and he has some Celtic design ?'s for my boyz. Then it's time to grub and get some suds. Then watch the 2 former Jarheads get going OOH-RAH!  hehe Pics will follow, in this thread...

 Paul showed up yesterday afternoon. We instantly recognized each other thru the masses. We talked up a storm, he met some of my tattoo artists. I decided not to get more in this day, since I had just spent 10+ hrs getting ink within the last week  (haha). We then moved on to eating. We went to a lil family owned "hole-in-the-wall called Jesse Embers, that everyone praised. I had never been there before either. The food was awesome, I will definitely be going back soon. Most importantly, this is where Paul and I really started to chat. He is an awesome fella and I was honored that he made a lil extra step in his journey, to meet me. We had a blast. BTW, the iced tea at the resteraunt was awesome, the baked potato, the London Broil. YUMMY! His was still squealing, but mine was almost crunchy (the way we both ordered haha). After this we decided to head back to Altoona, the town I live in connected to all the suburbs of Des Moines, so we would be closer to my home, and he would be right off of I-80 and get better motel rates for his brief sleep before heading out again. We went to a place I had been a few  times called Richs Bar. A pretty new bar in a lil strip mall. I knew no one in there, like each and every other time, but low and behold, ppl started shoing up that knew "The Yeti"  lol  ask Paul hahaha. We had a blast started with some Guinness, and then some other drinks as well. To close things up, and let Paul add more, after his nap, he just called and said he arrived back home safe. I was honored to meet such a stand up guy, we had a blast. I can;t wait to see my newest bud again. All my best Paul, always  Semper Fidelis brother. As you can tell, Yeti is a man of few words...all I can add is I had the opportunity to hoist more than a few with a Sly Bald guy who is one class act and show you a hell of a good time.  If anyone else makes it to Ioway, you have the have a drink with the man.   You did forgot to tell of our evangelism for Sly Bald Guys in Altoona, Yeti.   And oh yeah, if the brunette bartender ever wants my number, give it to her.   I

The Southern bartender?   hehehe will do brother.   Yeah we seemed we might have another SBG to join, the brother of the lady in the pics, {lady} who obviously liked Paul a lil, but she did show me a few tattoos as well haha. I haven't heard from them or gotten the pics they took, which will look a lot better, so I hope they do follow up. Thx again bro!  and yes, I do talk more than I type don't I?  hahaha I warned all about that hehe hope your ears have stopped bleeding bro.  Semper Fi

With four hours sleep, I forgot about her modeling for you and probably other stuff too!  Was a great time, need to get more sly guys to Austin that's for sure.
