Ok guys, I took the plunge.  Funny I was reading a post talking about being on here making you want to go shave your head; it's true.

First time shaving my head done this morning.  I'm still waiting on my HeadSlick and HeadBlade to arrive, but last night found Baldguyz Shave Gel at the store and this morning used it and the Panasonic Linear.

Shots of the before and after are at http://picasaweb.google.com/daviddham/SlySBG.

Looking forward to your guys' feedback.

Second day Sly and the shave was easier and closer. My HeadBlade/HeadSlick products arrived today, will be trying them while traveling this weekend.  At this point going to keep with the Panasonic Linear before trying out the HeadBlade.

Updated my avatar now that I've gone Sly.

Updated more photos in my before and after.

Appreciate the help and suggestions I've found here.  Look forward to more time as one of the Sly guys here.

Yeah, David!!  Looking good, bro!  I really like the beard and Sly look.  I am inspired to grow my beard back.  Mine comes in real thick and black.  So, it might be overkill, but I'm going for it next winter.  Summer time in South FL is just way too hot for my beard.

Anyways, you're rockin' the Sly look really well.  Welcome and enjoy your new look.

Thanks Bem. I'm keeping up with.  Had to rush this morning, but still got the head sly, had an appointment with the Dermatologist, at least he didn't complain about the razor rash I've got on the back of my neck.  Tho the sly look threw him at first and didn't recognize me until he checked my chart.

So far the beard isn't too bad even in Southeast Texas and we're already doing the 90s.  We'll see how it goes with full summer or if I'll go back to a goatee.

I'll try to post a pic.  If it works, this is me, when I had hair and a beard.

Welcome to the forum Dave from a fellow Houstonian.  I went Sly last year and experienced the same problems as you.  I must say the Sly look is you.  Be sure to follow the 30 day rule.
