Im gonna ask, What is your definition...

We all know the main ingredient in a salad is lettuce. There are many different types of lettuce , we can all agree on that.
In a chef salad I would put tomatoes, cheese, bacon bits, eggs, carrots, ham or chicken, croutons and onion.
OK we can all agree on that, right? Good
When you put all these ingredients together you:
A) chop all the ingredients and layer them nicely
B) cut all the ingredients and layer them nicely
C) just mix them all together and hope for the best
OR..........
D) just tear the lettuce in one big chunk, lay a whole tomato, two carrots broke in half, a slab of ham, two slices of what looks like Kraft cheese singles ( still wrapped in wrapper) , all of this placed inside a bowl shaped piece of Red Cabbage leaf.
The CORRECT ANSWER WOULD BE A, B or C....but We got D
I get back to work with my lunch after placing a to go order of a chef salad with ham and RANCH DRESSING...yes you know that white stuff that has spices in it taht you would pour on top of a properly prepared salad, in which was not in my bag. I open the container and this is how I found our salads. My wife was like what the hell did you do to these salads? I was like well SOB! I drive back across town, walk in and lay them on the counter. I said excuse me but I ordered a Chef salad not a freaking garden. I literally had to tell the "Cook" how to make a freakin salad. He said it was his first day....B.S. You arent going to tell me you do not know how to make a freakin salad. He said he make it according to the instructions. I look at his instruction sheet and amazingly I could read it because it was in pictures. The pictures did not specify that he needed to chop this stuff up first. Didnt get the dressings because they werent on the picture. What a way to start a PERFECTLY WONDERFUL FRIDAY AFTERNOON!
