i almost want to give up, why cant i just have a clean bald head? im NOT growing my hair back out.
this is what ive tried
-mach 3 turbo with gillette senisitive skin gel = not smooth enough results
-panasonic wet/linear with total shaving solution = irritation/bumps
ive even crossed both of the two methods; against the grain, with, total shaving solution with mach 3, using both gillette gel and total shaving solution, shaving my head with panasonic with or against then goin over with mach 3 etc...
i either always have too much stuble or get bumps(they are not horrible but still) when i go against the grain. and i even have bump patrol.
fellow slys please help me out. thanks.
Hey Mouse,
Check out this product line:

im thinking about trying the headblade and their products next.
I'd try the Mach 3 with your Total Shaving Solution or another shaving oil such as Shave Secret or Pacific Shaving Oil. I think those will give you the added protection you need. Also, let the razor do the work, don't apply much pressure to the blade.
I would second Tyler's advice and specify Pacific Shaving Oil. Great stuff.

thanks tyler, but i actually have tried that (mach 3 with tss) and its actually the worst results as far as the smoothness of the shave.
I would try to do the following 4 things first
1. Buy a shaving brush.
2. start using an exfoliating scrub such as st i'ves
3. buy a bottle of headslick, use the brush to spread it
4. shave in the shower!

thats actually what im exactly going to do.
also with a headblade though. ive noticed theres not much irritation on the top and sides of me head...even if i pass over the area more than once. so ill be using the headblade from the front of my head to the back of my head.
also has anyone heard of scalp doctor head shav'r relief?
If your not used to using the headblade.. Do not put any pressure on the "front" of the blade. keep the back of it on your head at all times. I use the headblade all the time it is my razor of choice.
